Mrs. Mary H. (Green) Kleintop

Mrs. Mary H. Kleintop, 94, formerly of 363 S. 9th St., Lehighton, passed away Saturday, June 24th at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Weatherly, Pa. She was the wife of the late Paul H. Kleintop Sr. who passed away on February 17th, 2001. Born in Kunkletown, Monroe County, Pa. June 29, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Francis & Edith (Bartholomew) Green. She and her late husband Paul formerly owned and operated Kleintop’s Diner (“Chicken In The Rough”) & Kleintop’s Takeout Chicken. Mary later retired from Bright’s Department Store in 1985.  She was a member of St. Matthew’s United Church Of Christ, Kunkletown, Pa. Surviving is a daughter, Karen L., wife of Curtis Bredbenner of Ashfield, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren,  8 great-great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Lorraine Dorozinsky, a son Paul Kleintop Jr. a sister, Marvelene Berger, a brother, Charles Green, & a granddaughter, Kelly Dorozinsky. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 28th at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with the Reverend Kenneth B. Ogden officiating. Call 9:30-11 a.m. on Wednesday. Interment in Franklin Heights Memorial Park, East Weissport, Pa. Memorial Contributions in her honor may be made to St. Matthew’s UCC, 102 Church Road, Kunkletown, Pa. 18058.
