Mrs. Geraldine (Morris) Newton-Sandova

Mrs. Geraldine (Newton) Sandova, of Davenport Fl. passed away Dec. 30th in The Good Shepherd Hospice House, Lakeland, Fl. She was the wife of John Sandova & the widow of the late Harry Newton who died 2003. Born in Trenton NJ., she was the daughter of the late Edward & Ida (Hughes) Morris. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a millworker for Scotty’s Fashions retiring in 1994. She was a former member of Ebenezer UMC, Lehighton. A family oriented person, she loved her family & grandson. Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, John Teresko & his wife Michelle of Hellertown, Pa., a daughter, Linda, wife of Paul Birch of Richland, Va., a brother, Anthony Morris of NYC, NY, & a grandson, Ian Teresko of Hellertown. Funeral Services will be held on Sat. Jan. 7th at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with the Rev. James D. Anderman officiating. Call 9:30-11 a.m. on Sat. Interment in The Lehighton Cemetery.
