Mr. William T. “Bill” Merluzzi, 63, of Lehighton, passed away on Sunday, September 24th at The Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Judith A. (Feuerstein) Merluzzi. They were married for 38 years on September 7th of this year. Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Richard A. & Lois M. (Trainer) Merluzzi. He was a Lehighton Area High School graduate, Class of 1971. Bill was the current owner/agent of the Merluzzi Insurance & Financial Services in Palmerton, Pa. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lehighton, The Lehighton F&AM Lodge 621, The Rajah Shrine Temple, Reading, Pa., & the Lehighton Pistol & Revolver League. He was a past deputy game warden for the Pennsylvania Game Commission, & formerly served on the Carbon County Redevelopment Authority Board & the United Way of Carbon County. He enjoyed spending time with his loving wife, children, grandchildren & family. In his spare time, he could be found hunting & playing his guitar. An avid Mopar enthusiast, he enjoyed driving and working on his 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner. Surviving in addition to his wife are a sister, Lynne B., wife of Gary Fedorcha of Slatington, Pa., 2 brothers, Richard A. Merluzzi & his wife Kathryn of West Chester, Pa., Craig A. Merluzzi & his wife Dorrinda of Palmerton, Pa., 2 sons, Michael J. Ronemus & his wife Corrine of Mertztown, Pa., James R. Ronemus & his wife Amy of Plymouth, Massachusetts, 2 grandchildren, Jackson & Julia, nieces & nephews. Funeral Services & Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
