Mr. Todd W. Scherer

Mr. Todd W. Scherer, 55, of East Penn Township, passed away, Sat. Dec. 3rd at his residence. He was the husband of Tammy L. Pitman Scherer. They were married for 15 years on May 19th of this past year. Born in Palmerton, Pa. he was a son of Gordon & Kay Ann Schleicher Scherer Jr. A Diesel Mechanic he was employed at Schleichers Trucking Co., East Penn Township. In his spare time, he enjoyed Motorcycling, Power Sports, Drag Racing, & spending time with his loving family, children, & grandchildren. Surviving in addition to his wife & parents are 2 sons, Jonathan Scherer & his wife Wendy of Florida, Kyle Scherer of Washington State, 2 sisters, Wendy Kunkel of Lehighton, Sundra Bachman of Slatington, 3 brothers, Wade Scherer  & his wife Jeanne of Colorado, Timothy Scherer of Minnesota, Gordon Scherer III & his wife Joy of Seattle, Washington, 2 grandchildren, Adrianna & Jaden, nieces & nephews. A Time of Remembrance for Todd will be held on Wed. Dec. 7th at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with Stephen Winters officiating. Call 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
