Mr. Hugh C, Bennett

Mr. Hugh C. Bennett, 71, of Parryville, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 27 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit, 17th & Chew Streets, Allentown, Pa. He was the wife of H. Leilani Russ Bennett. They were married for 50 years on July 14th, 2016. He served our country with the US Army during the Viet Nam War attaining the rank of SP-5. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a kitchen cabinet, gas grill, & home furnishings salesman. He was of the Catholic Faith. Hugh held a membership in The National American Legion Association. Surviving in addition to his wife are 3 daughters, Heather McClure of Parryville, Pa., Denise, wife of Bart Stanphill of Georgia, Jennifer, wife of John Winkelman of New Jersey, a sister, Marcia, wife of Douglas Hussey of Red Lion, Pa., a brother, Edward Bennett & his wife Paula of Florida, 8 grandchildren, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Michael Bennett. The funeral services & interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
