Mr. Harry E. Eisenhower Jr.

Mr. Harry E. Eisenhower Jr., 85, of Lehighton passed away Friday, December 23 at his residence. He was the widower of the late Jean L. Drumbore Eisenhower who passed away Oct. 27th, 1991 and was the current companion of Brenda Conarty. Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Harry E. & Ruth A, (Henry) Eisenhower Sr. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an Ironworker with Union Local 36.He formerly attended church services at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mahoning Valley.  He held Life membership’s at Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club, The Lehigh Fire Co. #1, & Lehighton Orioles Nest #183. An avid outdoorsman, he held membership’s at The Western Pocono Sportsman’s Association & The Andreas Sporting Club. Surviving in addition to his companion is a son Harry E. Eisenhower III & his wife Dawn of Lehighton, a daughter, Kelly wife of Doug Hall of Missouri, 1 brother, Glenn Eisenhower of Lehighton, 5 sisters, Margaret “Molly” Strohl & her companion Tony Cammaroto, Jean, wife of Michael Litchauer of Lehighton, Charlotte, wife of Steve Skrabak of Arizona, Jeanette, wife of Robert Strausberger of Palmerton, Linda, wife of Dr. Horace Obert of Arizona, 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews,and the children,grandchildren,& great-grandchildren of Brenda Conarty who considered him their "Pap". He was predeceased by 2 sons, Milton in 1980 & Chris in 2016.
