Mr. Dale Zimmerman Obituary

Mr. Dale A. Zimmerman, 76, of Lehighton, passed away Sunday, January 28th at St. Luke’s Miners Hospital, Coaldale, Pa. Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Harold & Arlene (Christman) Zimmerman. He served our country with the United States Navy  aboard the USS Enterprise during the Viet Nam War as a Radioman 2nd Class. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a Bethlehem Steel Worker. He was a member of The Lehighton American Legion Post 314 and held a Life membership at The Lehighton Orioles Nest #183. In his spare time he enjoyed Auctions & Antique Collecting. Surviving is a daughter, Trell D., wife of Dan Schleicher of Ashfield, Pa., 2 sons, Todd L. Zimmerman & Trevor H. Zimmerman of Lehighton, 2 sisters, Diane wife of Bill Strayer of Newport, Pa., Sally Warren of Mt. Ephraim, New Jersey, 2 brothers, Thomas Zimmerman of Lehighton, Harold Zimmerman & his wife Carol of Kunkletown, Pa . 7 grandchildren, Cole Schleicher, Nicole, Ian, Steffany, Riley, Jack & Brendan Zimmerman, nieces & nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 3rd at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with the Reverend Anthony P. Pagotto officiating followed by Full Military Honors under the direction of The Lehighton Area UVO. Call 10-11 a.m. on Saturday. Private Interment.
