Mr. Blaine Roland Rabuck

Mr. Blaine R. Rabuck, 88, of Franklin Township, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Saturday, June 17th at The Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Salisbury Township.  He was the husband of Isabelle A. (Rehrig) Rabuck. They were married for 68 years last Christmas Eve 2016. Born in Weissport, Pa. Sept. 7, 1928, he was a son of the late Roy & Irene (Person) Rabuck. He served our country during the Korean War with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard attaining the rank of Specialist 2nd Class with the Company B, 165th Military Police Battalion. Prior to his retirement he worked for Scotchmaid as a maintenance technician. He formerly worked for W.F. Hofford as a knitting machine operator and in the same capacity for Clyde Houser. He was a member of People’s Evangelical Congregational Church, E. Weissport, Pa. Blaine was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed worldwide traveling with his family . He visited most of the 50 states and also traveled overseas to, Scotland, England, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, & Israel. Surviving in addition to his wife, is a daughter Sharon D. Rabuck of Lehighton, a brother, LaMar “Bill” Rabuck of Palmerton, nieces & nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 22nd at 11 a.m. at Peoples E.C. Church 206 Wagner Street, Lehighton with the Reverend Kenneth B. Ogden officiating. Call 10-11 a.m. Thursday in the church. Interment in Franklin Heights Memorial Park, E. Weissport, Pa.
