Mary Jane (Bock) Christman

Mary Jane Bock Christman, 63, of Mohnton, Pa. passed away Monday March 27th at her residence. She was the fiancé of Tom Trate of Birdsboro. Born in Lehighton, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Emmett W. & Josephine E. (Sander) Bock. She was of the Catholic Faith. Mary Jane was a 1971 graduate of Central Bucks West High School. She received her Associates Degree in Computer Science from Bucks County Community College in 1973 and was currently employed as an analyst/programmer for UGI utilities. While in college, she was a very active participant of the equestrian team. An avid canine enthusiast, she bred Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs. Surviving in addition to her fiancé are 2 sisters, Nancy L. wife of Frank Casale of Pocono Lake, Barbara A. wife of Bobby Gentry of Florida, 4 nieces, 1 nephew, 4 grand nieces, 3 grand nephews, & her loving dogs, Leia & Chuck. A Celebration Of Life Service will be held on Friday, March 31st at 10 a.m. at The Ovsak Funeral Home, 190 South 4th Street, Lehighton, Pa. with the Reverend Michael E. Ahrensfield officiating. Call 8-10 a.m. on Friday. Interment in SS Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, North 4th St., Lehighton.
