Doris L. (Stamm) Hawk

Doris L. Hawk, 81, of Lehighton, passed away Monday September 25th at her residence. Born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Harry & Audrey (Hahn) Stamm. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a presser for Scotty’s Fashions. She previously attended church services at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church ,Lehighton and more recently attended church services at First Presbyterian Church of Lehighton. She was a fan of George Jones & his country music and loved watching the New York Yankees Baseball  team and the Dallas Cowboys Football team on the television sports networks. Surviving are 2 daughters, Barbara A., wife of Daniel Hartman of Lehighton, Pa., Kathy L., wife of John MacChesney of Nesquehoning, Pa. 4 grandchildren, Craig Hartman, Kellie Kromer, Kerri Williams, Lauri Campbell, 2 great-grandsons, Ryder & Slade, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Merlin, Harry, & Elwood Stamm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 29th at 11 a.m. at The Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home, 190 South 4th Street, Lehighton Pa. with the Reverend Laura Stone officiating. Call 9:30-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment in The Lehighton Cemetery.
